It’s been a while but for those who prefer gaming on the PC rather than a console, the wait is over if you are a Halo fan. Microsoft, Bungie and Gearbox have announced the release of Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC for North America. It’s an enhanced version of the original XBOX release which came out in November of 2001 and whilst it does not have the two player co-op playing option of Halo: Combat Evolved for the XBOX, it does boast support for a deathmatch game with up to 16 players.
There are also a number of new vehicles and weapons to play around with and with Halo: Combat Evolved for the XBOX having sold more than 3 million copies worldwide in the last couple of years since its release, Ed Fries, the corporate vice president over at Microsoft Games Studio, says it is the most successful XBOX game to date and hopes are high for the PC gaming community to now be able to get the opportunity to make that true of this latest version.
